Welcome to our Rotary Fort Lauderdale South Club Website!

Message from the President:

President’s Message May, 2010

PERFECT ATTENDANCE- IT’S NOT TOO HARD TO ACHIEVE!

Any time you miss your regular club meeting you can attend a meeting of another Rotary Club to get credit for your attendance.  This will count toward your perfect attendance record.  Remember, you have two weeks prior to and two weeks after the absence from your club to make up a meeting.

Also qualifying for make-up credit would be any Rotary event such as District Assembly or Conference, International Convention, Club Board or committee meeting, or participation in a Rotary service project.  To receive credit you must report participation in any of these events to Club Secretary Barbara Scerbo.

To find a club in our District, go to our District website - ri6990.org - and click on “Clubs Meet”.  To locate a Rotary Club worldwide, visit the international website – rotary.org – and click on “Club Locator.”

This is my next-to-last President’s Message.  Next month I’ll sum up my thoughts on my year as club president - our ups and downs, our successes and, well, let’s stick to the successes…

I am very grateful for the opportunity to have served as your president this past year, and I wish Howard all the joy and frustration, the warm feelings and the cold drinks, that have made up “my” year.

Cheers,

Rick

The future of Rotary is in your hands!

And remember the Four Way Test –

Of the things we think, say or do:

 1. Is it the truth?

 2. Is it fair to all concerned?

 3. Will it build good will and better friendships?

 4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Service Above Self.
